"Hot" Cocoa
Spiced Hot Cocoa - Serves 2
1 small Thai chili pepper
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2.5 tbsp brown sugar
2.5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
sprinkle of salt
1/4 C water
1 T honey
2 C milk
Dash vanilla
Crush the spices together and simmer for a few minutes in the water.
Dissolve the honey and then add the milk and vanilla.
Heat on low-medium until hot - Do not boil.

Where does one get a Thai chili pepper? Do most vegetable places have them?

Asian food markets. They are tiny little red peppers that are flaming hot. I guess you could use crushed hot pepper.
