I came across a wonderful quote that encapsulates, to my mind, everything about what industrial engineering is. It also is a wonderful rebuff to all the folk who say "enough with the paperwork and planning - just get it done!"Abraham Lincoln: "Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe."
